Julio Cabrera’s impressive career reveals a humble yet influential bartender who cherishes his heritage. For over three decades, Cabrera has pursued his passion, starting as a cantinero in Cuba in the late 1980s, then representing Cuba in Italy and Mexico, and finally establishing himself in Miami before the modern cocktail renaissance in the early 2000s.
Julio Cabrera was named the Roku Industry Icon to rapture in the gathered crowd in San Miguel de Allende for the ceremony of North America’s 50 Best Bars 2023.
